Carolina WoodWorking Consultants, Inc. is a major supplier of new and used woodworking machinery. With over 25 years experience in this industry, CWWC has the knowledge, ability and resources to locate and make available a wide-range of woodworking machinery. CWWC currently has more than 300 machines listed on their web site, with more being added weekly.
Problems:
- Using the previous CWWC web site, site visitors were forced to dredge through static HTML pages to find the machine(s) they were interested in learning more about and purchasing.
- Due to the owners limited time and knowledge of web technologies, he was unable to manage his online content and inventory.
- As more inventory was being added, it was becoming increasingly more difficult for site visitors to quickly search the CWWC inventory.
Solutions:
Using this new system, Mr Comeau can now easily add inventory to his web site without knowing HTML or other web-based technologies. He can add up-to 4 machines as Featured Machines, which are prominently displayed on the sites home-page, and can disable machines from consumer searches. He can also now easily add new machine categories and manufactures as his inventory expands.
On the consumer side, visitors to the new CWWC web site can easily "drill down" through the database driven categories to find the specific machine(s) they are interested in.
